Hi! I’m Kristy. I create unique pieces that are reminiscent of a cherished memory with a loved one.

This little art journey is inspired by a lot of love, a lot of memories, and a whole lot of learning along the way. I started painting as a way to stay close to my mum, Sossi (aka Susan), after she was diagnosed with a rare form of dementia called Posterior Cortical Atrophy at just 59 years old. At the time, I was about to become a mum myself. My art became a way to process the many emotions that come with something as significant as that - and a way to keep her spirit close. Every piece I create is rooted in memories, inspired by the things that brought us joy and comfort, whether that’s a staple ingredient in our favourite home-cooked meals, a cup of coffee, or a trip to a faraway place.

Each of my pieces tells a story of connection, memory, and the beauty of life's simplest pleasures. I am dedicated to creating artwork that preserves the treasured moments we share with our loved ones—those fleeting memories that shape us and fill our hearts long after someone is gone or is far away.

About Kristy Adler Art

A bit about my art

My work is all about capturing those small, meaningful moments we share with the people we love - moments that sometimes slip away but deserve to be kept close. I paint for people who want to hold onto that feeling, whether someone they love is far away or no longer here. It’s a way of saying, “Hey, those times still matter, and they always will.”

Why I do this

Kristy Adler Art isn’t just about creating art; it’s about creating connection. This whole business grew from a place of love and a desire to bring a little light and warmth to people’s lives, particularly during difficult times. In addition to original artwork and prints, I offer commissions for those who want to treasure their own precious memories.

I also support Dementia Australia Research Foundation with a portion of profits from my prints (coming soon - sign up to my mailing list to have first access!) because it’s a cause that’s close to my heart.

Thank you so much for being here and for sharing in this journey. I hope my art brings you as much joy as it brings me to create it.

Much love,
Kristy xx
